Rest your mouse on your phone screen. Despierto moves a texture underneath it, the sensor reads that as movement, and the cursor never sits still. Nothing is installed on the computer.
It does not work with every mouse. Optical mice with a visible red light usually work; laser sensors and some newer ones cannot read a screen well.

Will it work with your mouse?
It depends on the sensor, and there is no way to tell by looking. Here is the usual split — and how to find out for certain in a minute.
The compatibility test comes first
Before your first session, Despierto works through one configuration after another and asks whether the cursor moved. Under a minute later you know whether your mouse is one of the ones it can move. Run it as often as you like, with as many mice as you like.
And if it does not, you get your money back
Despierto is paid for before you can install it, so a failed test should not leave you with an app you cannot use: request a refund from your Google Play purchase history. Within the first couple of hours it is approved almost automatically. The app itself says so on the "this mouse does not work" screen.

Three modes
Texture, vibration, or both at once, depending on what your sensor picks up.
Intervals from 15s to 10 min
Four one-tap presets, plus a custom interval in 15-second steps.
Randomised interval
Varies the interval by ±30% so the movement is not a metronome.
Auto-stop
The session ends on its own after a few hours, or at a set time. Useful if you are going to bed.
Idle brightness
The screen brightens only to move, then dims again. You choose how far down.
Battery guard
Warns you when you are not charging, and pauses the session below 15%.
English and Spanish
Follows your system language, or whichever you pick in settings.
Press and hold to stop
A brush of the hand will not end a session — stopping takes a deliberate hold.
We collect nothing
Despierto has no accounts, no analytics and no servers. Whatever you set stays in your phone’s storage, and goes away when you uninstall.
